Hotel Baker Accessibility Policy

Hotel Baker, located in St. Charles, Illinois, aims to offer every visitor a welcoming and inclusive experience. It is important to note, due to the historic nature of the hotel it is not currently fully wheelchair accessible. Removal of necessary physical barriers for complete accessibility is not readily achievable as such removal would threaten or destroy the historic significance of the property. However, we are committed to ongoing efforts to improve accessibility.

Our Commitment to Accessibility

We try our best to accommodate any disabled guests by providing a customized experience based on the level of assistance they may need. Please call 630-584-2100 or email reservations@hotelbaker.com for special accommodation needs so we can help you determine the best guest room for your stay and ensure a comfortable experience at Hotel Baker.

We work to ensure every guest who wishes to visit can do so regardless of their physical abilities. Among the ways we comply with ADA:

  1. We ensure that individuals with disabilities can make reservations during the same hours and in the same manner as individuals without disabilities.
  2. We have identified and described features at our hotel and guest rooms to allow individuals with disabilities to determine whether our property meets their needs.
  3. We ensure that accessible guest rooms are held for use by individuals with disabilities until all other guest rooms of that type have been rented.
  4. We guarantee that the specific rooms, once reserved, are held for the reserving customer. We make reasonable efforts with third-party reservation systems to make all rooms available through at least some of these services and they must provide these third-party services with information concerning the features of the hotel and rooms.
  5. Guests with legitimate service animals as defined in the ADA will be provided access to all areas of the property afforded to those without service animals.
